Patricia Hewitt, Secretary of State for Health, has announced that a new National Service Framework (NSF) will be developed to improve standards of care and increase choice for patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
Let’s hope they remember that telecare and telehealth technologies can have an important role to play in the management of COPD and that they include somome to represent this particular angle in the NFS’s Extrenal Reference Group. Read the DH press release.
