NPR on 'band-aid' sensors for remote monitoring (US)

National Public Radio (NPR), the US (taxpayer supported) national radio network, catches up to ‘skin patch’ sensors of the type commonly dubbed as Band-Aid® style in this five-minute feature and associated online article on ‘All Things Considered’.  None will be strangers to our readers but the traction it is getting in consumer media is encouraging.  Included:  Corventis‘ Piix (not correctly credited), Proteus Biomedical’s chip pills/bandage style monitor [TA 22 Apr],  and the FCC/FDA collaboration on approving all of this (cross your fingers.)  High-tech ‘band-aids’ call doctors
