Do you really know what nanotechnology means?  Trusting that our readership will not find this tangential to our focus, this Opinion article in Friday’s Wall Street Journal (no subscription required to view) on the ‘father of nanotechnology’, Richard Feynman (who never used the word in his ‘founding’ speech), explores two different interpretations on what nanotechnology really means.  It’s not all about making things small which most of us are concerned with–thin films, wearable sensors, microchips in pills (Proteus–‘Creepy medication…’ from October) and filters–the other interpretation is about nanotechnology making larger things.  Article.
