McRoberts DynaPort Hybrid (Netherlands)

The McRoberts DynaPort Hybrid was developed through the EU-funded Sens Action-AAL project for remote mobility monitoring technology. The system comprises a waist-worn triaxial piezocapacitive accelerometer and triaxial gyroscope and online monitoring software. The company believes that the system can help doctors verify the veracity of patients’ accounts of their falls. Information from The Engineer. Thanks to reader Chris Wigley for the heads-up.
