Intel: investment in home healthcare technology starts rolling

We heard quite a lot last year about Intel’s intention to invest in home healthcare technology. Now, Oregon Health & Science University’s (OHSU) Oregon Center for Aging and Technology (ORCATECH) has become the first to be funded under a new program of Intel’s Digital Health Group called the Behavioral Assessment and Intervention Commons, or BAIC. It is now moving into the next phase of a research program developing and testing new technologies to address the challenge of aging successfully. Read about its Point of Care Laboratory.
