    Aetrex has a really good idea here but some caveats:

    1. They have to be made in both dress and sport styles

    2. The pre-release landing page has only men’s dress shoes–nothing for women

    3. Are the trackers in a place where the device can’t rub or be felt? (Skin gets thinner with age)

    Finally, the article lists ‘paranoia’ or fear of strange/new things as part of dementia, which is entirely true. Thus GPS wristbands, bag tags and the like can get removed. So I can imagine the discussion at home with Mom or Dad being told they have to wear ‘these’ shoes going out, not the ones they are accustomed to!
