Findings of survey into local responses to the PTG published

The website AT Dementia (see 26 January) is now carrying the report of the survey Local responses to the preventive technology grant: findings from a two stage survey of local stakeholders undertaken last year by John Woolham, Grant Gibson and Pam Clarke. “The survey found that whilst in many areas local agencies were responding creatively and enthusiastically, other respondents reported on a range of difficulties in creating the local conditions that might allow telecare to be widely used. A total lack of knowledge and experience of using telecare in some areas created particular difficulties.” Download from the AT Dementia site.
