CellTrak home care software expanding in Canada

Home care has traditionally been slow to embrace PC-driven or mobile solutions, so this is cheering news.  CellTrak, a US company which has developed a mobile platform for tracking home care scheduled visits, providing client-specific care plans to aides and nurses before their visit and facilitates remote data entry, reports that it is expanding nationwide in Canada.  Their partners are: TELUS Health Solutions (a division of TELUS Communications, a leading mobile provider) and Procura, a Canadian-US-Australian developer of back office administration and EHRs.  According to the release (on FierceHealthcare), TELUS is launching the service this month as TELUS MobileCare, part of its service group that also includes telehealth.  Now if the Canadians would stop sending their frigid weather to the US East Coast….. CellTrak, TELUS websites.
