Representatives from the Confederation of Business Industry (CBI) have praised Northamptonshire County Council’’s pioneering Safe at Home project and its adoption of advanced telecare and assistive technology to support the independence of people with dementia, during a recent visit to the scheme. A recent report on the project highlighted that the use of telecare has brought the local agencies in Northamptonshire equivalent savings of over £1.5 million over a period of 21 months. News item.
